Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) Awards for Excellence program awarding those restaurants and caterers that succeeded in their field. The Savour Australia HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence is recognized nationwide, independently judge awards program which acknowledges excellent service and culinary expertise throughout Australia. It provides direct exposure for hospitality businesses, an opportunity to network with key suppliers and appreciates the accomplishments of hospitality staff.

All participating restaurants will be visited by an anonymous qualified judges of Restaurant & Catering Australia to decide the overall winner of the category they take part in, while all participating caterers will be contacted by a qualified Restaurant & Catering Australia judges who will required to attend and evaluate one event as part of their judging process.

Knowing your customer and exceeding their expectations is pivotal to success – businesses need to serve great food, to evolve and innovate, and invest in their staff. The Awards for Excellence provides a benchmark for this success with its criteria determined by consumers who rank what is important to them in the dining experience. The winners are clearly and unequivocally scored as the best hospitality operators in their category”.

On 2015 7th September 2015, all winners were announced at the 2015 Awards For Excellence ceremony held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. There are more than 200 local restaurants, catering businesses and cafes participated and judge across 38 different categories. Now in its 17th year, The Awards of Excellence participants judged by an independent team trained judges who anonymously check out the venue to decide the winners. The judging process scores are mainly based on the overall dining experience from food to the customer service experience when judges anonymously dine.

Restaurant & Catering Australia represents thousands of catering businesses and restaurants operating across Australia and about 1,500 of its members are reviewed in the Awards of Excellence annually. It is not only an excellent promotional and accreditation program for restaurants and caterers businesses, but in addition to assists customers in identifying some stand out establishments.
